The Brief

The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber) relocated to new offices on Linenhall Street in Belfast and required a modern AV and communications solution to support its busy organisation. With a membership of over 1,200 businesses representing more than 100,000 employees, NI Chamber hosts numerous events and meetings each week for its members.

The organisation wanted technology that would improve internal communication, make meetings easier to manage and reduce unnecessary travel between locations. It was also important that staff and visitors could easily see upcoming Chamber events and announcements throughout the office. NI Chamber commissioned Fluid AV to design and install a connected, easy-to-use AV solution that would support both day-to-day operations and member engagement.

The Solution

Fluid AV worked closely with NI Chamber’s fit-out contractor to ensure the technology integrated seamlessly into the new office environment, creating a modern and connected workspace.

In the main meeting room, an 86-inch display was installed alongside a wireless presentation system with integrated room booking. The system connects directly to Microsoft Office 365, allowing staff to easily schedule and manage meetings while presenting content wirelessly from their own devices.

In the reception area, Fluid AV installed a digital signage display that showcases upcoming events, key announcements and member news. This provides a dynamic and professional welcome for visitors while ensuring important information is visible throughout the day.

Additional screens and connectivity solutions were installed within private offices, ensuring team members could easily collaborate, share information and connect with colleagues and members when required.

The Impact

The new AV and digital display systems have created a more connected and efficient workplace for NI Chamber. Staff can now schedule meetings quickly, present content wirelessly and collaborate more effectively without the need for unnecessary travel.

Digital signage in the reception area keeps both staff and visitors informed about upcoming events, helping to promote Chamber activities and ensure the team stays aligned with the organisation’s busy weekly schedule.
